With concern over the end of life of Windows 10 on the 14th of October 2025, organisations with a large fleet of hardware that doesn't support Windows 11 are looking towards options to extend the life of hardware. One option is to convert desktop PCs to thin client kiosks using Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2021 (with support until 13th Jan 2032) managed by Intune Kiosk configuration profiles and connect to Windows 11 instances via Azure Virtual Desktop.
