As we reach mid-August, our team is proud to reflect on a series of impactful technology upgrades that have delivered measurable value for our clients.
Modernising Device Management with Microsoft Intune
Our first major project involved transforming the end-user experience by migrating 150 devices from Chromebooks to Windows laptops, fully managed with Microsoft Intune. This upgrade was more than a hardware refresh-it empowered users with enhanced security, streamlined management, and seamless access to Microsoft 365 apps. With Intune, we centralised device management, enabling secure provisioning, automated policy deployment, and simplified updates, regardless of user location. This shift has driven wider Microsoft 365 adoption, boosting productivity and collaboration across teams.
Embracing Cloud-First Identity and Security
The second initiative focused on simplifying IT operations by moving away from a hybrid environment to a cloud-based approach using Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) and Intune. This transition unified identity and device management, reducing complexity and aligning with industry best practices for cloud-first organisations. Our rollout of Microsoft Intune provided a robust platform for managing security policies, device compliance, and application delivery from a single console.
Enhanced Security with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint
Security was a top priority throughout these projects. By integrating Microsoft Defender for Endpoint with Intune, we established advanced threat protection and real-time monitoring, ensuring that only compliant, secure devices can access corporate resources. This proactive approach helps defend against evolving cyber threats and supports regulatory compliance.
Efficient Application Deployment and Device Standardisation
We streamlined application setup and onboarding for over 350 devices, ensuring users have quick access to the tools they need. Leveraging Intune’s driver management and Windows Autopatch, all devices now run the latest version of Windows with up-to-date drivers, reducing support overhead and improving reliability. This standardisation ensures consistent performance and a better end-user experience.
Empowering Collaboration and Communication
With devices now running Windows 11 and managed through Intune, clients benefit from the full suite of Office 365 enterprise apps, including OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams. We also implemented Microsoft Teams Direct Routing, enabling enterprise-grade voice communication and further enhancing collaboration.
